Baselode Energy Commences 1,500-Meter Drill Program at Bear Uranium Project

Baselode Energy has initiated a 1,500-metre drill program at its Bear Uranium project situated in the Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan. The exploration program will consist of 6 to 8 drill holes strategically positioned across 3 to 4 distinct areas of interest within the project boundaries. According to company CEO James Sykes, field crews have already commenced logistical preparations, with drill crews scheduled to arrive on-site within the next two weeks.

The company is employing helicopter support for the drilling operations, a method designed to accelerate drill targeting while minimizing ground-level environmental disturbance. Baselode Energy has secured all required regulatory permits for the program, ensuring full compliance with environmental and operational standards. The Bear project represents a significant exploration opportunity in one of the world's most prolific uranium districts, with the Athabasca Basin historically producing high-grade uranium deposits.

Complementing the drilling activities, Baselode Energy completed a low-altitude, high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey over the Bear project in March. While final survey results remain pending, the company anticipates receiving this critical data before drilling commences. These geophysical results will provide essential targeting information for the drill program, helping to identify potential mineralization zones and optimize exploration efficiency.

Simultaneously, Sykes provided updates on the company's Catharsis Project, where recent drilling comprised 11 holes totaling 2,837 meters across six target areas. Preliminary observations revealed encouraging signs of hydrothermal alteration and structural features in two additional target zones, suggesting potential mineralization. The company plans to release comprehensive results once all assay data has been received and thoroughly interpreted.

The Catharsis Project also benefited from a separate low-altitude, high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey completed in April, which will supplement existing geological knowledge and enhance future exploration planning. Baselode Energy continues to advance its portfolio of Athabasca Basin projects using innovative exploration techniques to identify and delineate high-potential uranium targets, contributing to the global search for clean energy resources amid growing nuclear power demand.
